Strategic Account Manager

Join a dynamic team at Foodjob Nordic ApS as we seek an experienced Strategic Account Manager to spearhead key customer relationships within the food industry.
Our client, Moguntia Food Group, is a family-run business with a rich history in food processing and distribution. With operations spanning across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK, they supply a wide range of food products to wholesalers, retailers, and the food service industry worldwide.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to onboard new customers and enhance existing partnerships. Key account management, product portfolio development, and project management will be integral components of this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage key accounts in the food and meat products industry
- Plan, prepare, and execute annual and price meetings with customers
- Provide specialist and technological customer advice on site and via phone
- Lead project management efforts, planning, and implementation for and with customers
- Represent the company at trade fairs, seminars, and conferences
- Collaborate with internal project groups for research and development of new products and solutions
This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a local team to effectively manage day-to-day business operations. Regular attendance in our office in Randers is expected, along with significant domestic travel.
We are seeking an individual with a strong commercial background in the food industry, preferably from a supplier of ingredients, FMCG, or wholesaler. A well-developed sales toolkit, experience working in cross-functional teams, and proficiency in MS-Office and CRM tools are essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in Danish and English, are required.
