About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cellular Pharmacology Researcher to join our team at H. Lundbeck A/S, where you will play a crucial role in advancing brain health and transforming lives for people living with brain diseases.

As a key member of our Cellular and Functional Pharmacology team, you will be responsible for developing assays, generating pharmacology data, validating targets, and understanding the mode-of-action of our molecules.

About Our Team

Our team is composed of 16 skilled scientists, technicians, and students who value a collaborative and trustful environment. We leverage every individual's knowledge to achieve the best results while maintaining a fun and informal atmosphere.

As part of our Neuroscience organization, we are focused on generating data and insights necessary for advancing early- and late-stage drug discovery projects. We work in a matrix set-up supporting four dedicated biology areas: Synapse Biology and Neuronal Circuits, Hormonal and Neuropeptide Signaling, Protein aggregation, folding, and clearance, and Neuroinflammation and Neuroimmunology.

Your Background
  • We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in Neuroscience and several years of postdoc/industry experience.
  • Experience in in vitro/ex vivo cellular assay development within neuroscience/neuro-immunology is essential, along with extensive knowledge around imaging and high-content image analysis.
  • A genuine interest in data handling and data organization, as well as basic data science skills including R/Python programming, is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills are required to manage projects efficiently and advance them to completion within defined timelines.
  • A strong collaborator and partner during project work and in a departmental setting is essential.
