Job Description

The University of Copenhagen is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join the Lund Group at the Biotech Research and Innovation Centre. The successful candidate will work on understanding ribosome specialization and its role in colorectal cancer.

About the Project

The project focuses on exploring how pathological translation programs contribute to the development of colorectal cancer. The researcher will use mouse and human organoid cultures, along with techniques such as ribosome profiling, RiboMeth-seq, and mass spectrometry, to investigate this area.

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic scientist with a PhD in biomedical or natural sciences. Essential experience includes molecular and cellular biology skills, proficiency in communication, and excellent English language skills. Prior experience in cancer research and computational skills would be advantageous.

Terms of Employment

The position is a fixed-term contract limited to 3 years, available now. The average weekly working hours are 37 hours per week. Salary and benefits are set according to the Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations).

Estimated Salary: approximately 5,171 EUR/month (April 2024 level)
