Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Københavns Universitet Full time

We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join our team at the Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology, University of Copenhagen. This 3-year position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in pharmacogenomics.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work on an ambitious project entitled "Pleiotropic effects — from drug targets to drug actions" funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark, Sapere Aude. The overall objective is to characterize the interplay between naturally occurring variations in prominent drug targets and clinical phenotypes for personalized target and treatment selection using pharmacogenomics.

As a researcher, you will be at the forefront of pharmacogenomics research, playing a critical role in unraveling the complex relationship between genetic variations and drug responses. Your responsibilities will include the molecular pharmacological characterization of G protein-coupled receptor genetic variants in recombinant cell lines.

You will utilize state-of-the-art assays and technologies to generate and analyze high-dimensional datasets, providing novel insights into personalized medicine. Part of your role will be to develop and optimize a robust pipeline to efficiently characterize the effects of multiple drugs across diverse genetic variants.
