Job Description

The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of Salling Group's information assets. This includes developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and guidelines to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and NIS2. They will be able to work effectively with technical teams to ensure compliance measures are practical and effective.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure compliance measures are effectively implemented and maintained.
  3. Work with IT and security teams to design and deploy secure systems and networks.
  4. Communicate cybersecurity risks and compliance requirements to business stakeholders.
  5. Conduct regular compliance assessments to identify and remediate compliance gaps.
  6. Train and educate employees on cybersecurity compliance requirements.
  7. Respond to regulatory inquiries and audits to support the Legal Department.
  8. Maintain compliance documentation and records.
  9. Research and apply relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to the organization's information systems and practices.
  10. In collaboration with the team, drive security and compliance initiatives across Salling Group, including Denmark, Poland, and Germany.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience working with technical teams. They should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be interacting with various stakeholders across the organization.

The following skills and qualifications are desired:
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and NIS2.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams to ensure compliance measures are practical and effective.
  • Technical knowledge of IT or cybersecurity and privacy principles.
  • Able to interpret and apply complex compliance requirements.
  • Experience with technical security controls and incident response.
