Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly local closing activities and IFRS reporting to the Vaillant Group.
  • Local GAAP year-end closing of entities in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, including communication and preparation of documents for auditors.
  • Handling bank accounts, including payments and monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Managing debtors and creditors (both views), including credit management and receivable aging.
  • Performing SAP bookings directly or through workflows (including payroll and recharges).
  • Acting as VAT contact for entities in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
  • Coordinating tax-related matters for authorities and the Vaillant Group (VAT and CIT).
  • Implementing and optimizing financial processes in your area of responsibility.
  • Conducting monthly control and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of a degree or training in finance/accounting or relevant professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills in accounting, controlling, and problem-solving.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting according to local GAAP and IFRS.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and SAP ERP, especially SAP FI-CO (SAP-SD beneficial).
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, with basic understanding of Swedish.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive work ethic.
  • Collaborative mindset with effective communication and self-management.
