Application Security Testing Director

At Carlsberg Danmark, we're seeking an experienced Application Security Testing Manager to oversee our application security testing program. This key role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive application security testing strategy, leading a team of security professionals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security testing into the software development lifecycle.
About the Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for planning, executing, and managing all aspects of application security testing within Carlsberg Danmark. You'll direct a team of security testers, providing guidance and support in conducting effective security assessments. Your primary tasks and responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive application security testing strategy and process aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Team Leadership: Build and maintain a team of security testers (internal and external), providing guidance and support in conducting effective security assessments.
- Testing Execution: Coordinate and oversee the execution & planning of application security tests, including static analysis, dynamic analysis, penetration testing, and code review, across various development functions.
- Tool Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate security testing tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to integrate the security testing process into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Requirements
We're looking for an experienced application security testing professional with a strong background in leading security testing teams. You should have a deep understanding of common application security vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques. A good knowledge of relevant technologies, including SAST, DAST, container security, open-source libraries security, and cloud-based application security, is also essential. Ideally, you should have a solid development background and stakeholder management and people management capability.
