We're searching for a Head of Communications to lead our external communications in Denmark. You'll be at the heart of building our narrative, increasing our brand awareness and strategic positioning, as well as building media relations and handling possible media crises. If you're a creative storyteller with a knack for strategic thinking, this is your chance to make a big impact in a high priority market. This Copenhagen-based role plays a key part within the global Wolt communications team, as well as with the General Manager and local leadership team in Denmark. It reports to our Regional Head of Communications based in Tallinn.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and execute communications strategies (across Consumer, Policy, Merchant topics for example) that align with our global and local business goals and tell great proactive stories about our Danish business, partners and team.
• Support policy-related topics from the communications side, helping to shape and communicate Wolt's perspective on key issues such as platform work and our role in the local economy.
• Manage crisis communications and ensure close alignment with the General Manager, local leadership, and global communications teams in sensitive or high-stakes situations.
• Lead our PR agency and ensure consistent messaging and creative storytelling across all channels - earned (B2C & B2B) and owned.
• Bring an AI-first approach, leveraging social media and online platforms to amplify our message.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts in Denmark.
• Develop great written materials (e.g. press releases, blog posts, Q&A's, social media posts and more) for internal and external use.
• Support with the coordination of the information flow across our organization.
• Spokesperson for Denmark as well as coach and advise local spokespeople for media encounters.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Policy, Marketing, Legal, Operations. Support and Product, to ensure an aligned PR and communications approach.

Our humble expectations

• 7+ years experience in communications / PR / media relations at an agency or in-house. Background in technology or delivery platforms is a plus.
• Fluent in Danish and English, other languages a plus.
• Stellar analytical, writing, and oral communication skills, especially in Danish, with the ability to simplify complex topics, adapt messaging for different audiences, and speak confidently on TV or radio.
• Strong relationship building skills with diverse stakeholders and the ability to juggle multiple projects independently.
• Great organizational skills and a proactive mindset with great attention to detail and high standards for your work.
• Understanding business priorities and developing communications that support business goals.
• High level of independent thinking and acting.
