Bio Clean Carbon is transforming wastewater treatment into a carbon-capturing, nutrient-recycling process using cyanobacteria. The company operates in wastewater facilities with open pond systems to capture CO₂ from the air and absorb nitrogen and phosphorus from the water through photosynthesis. Bio Clean Carbon's technology is highly energy-efficient, adaptable to existing pond infrastructure, and produces biochar from cyanobacteria biomass. This process contributes to global sustainability goals and provides a scalable and cost-effective solution for climate change mitigation and pollution reduction. Based in Copenhagen, Bio Clean Carbon is piloting its innovative approach with plans for large-scale implementation.

Job Description:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships with potential clients, working closely with the Founders. As the Business Development Manager, you will take the lead in the development of new business opportunities that supports Bio Clean Carbon's overall growth strategy.

We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for sales and proven track record of success in B2B and who takes a hands-on approach to build business opportunities. In this key position, you will work closely with sales, marketing and product management teams to achieve established sales goals and implement initiatives that grow the Bio Clean Carbon brand, and generate bottom line revenue for the company.

This position reports directly to the COO.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain consistent sales growth by continuously establishing new accounts and maintaining existing key accounts. Work effectively with decision makers i.e. CEO, COO to develop long-term strategic relationships.
• Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition.
• Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline towards targeted entities to continuously grow the business and generate sales.
• Collaborate with other support teams to ensure successful implementations.
• Develop new business opportunities within B2B and other potential customers at all stages of the sales cycle to include targeting, prospecting and presenting compelling business opportunities.
• Effectively manage large scale, complex international contracts negotiations and close new business deals with potential customers.
• Develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports Company budget, revenue and profitability Attend conferences, events and meetings to promote Bio Clean Carbon's product solutions and brand.

Requirements:

• Fluent in Danish and English.
• Drivers license or willing to take public transport to clients around Zealand Region.
• Great negotiator.
• A results oriented and diplomatic communicator.
• An honest, pragmatic, and results-oriented mindset; comfortable giving and receiving open and honest feedback.
• An open and convincing personality.
• Ability to juggle multiple project at the same time and strong flexibility to adapt to the changing nature of the business.
• Permission to work in Denmark.
