To expand our Materials R&D efforts, we are seeking talented interns to help us develop and integrate advanced material solutions and construction technology into our 3D construction printers.
Are you looking for an internship in applied research towards product development in the automated construction industry? Then look no further. We are seeking talented individuals who is studying in something relevant to fill one or more of the following internship roles: test engineer, lab technician, materials scientist, materials engineer, production (material and printer) operator. We are also interested in candidates that have Product Development and Prototyping as part of their background i.e. develop the hardware and software for new material delivery systems.
You will be part of a dynamic team, where your responsibilities will range from operational (e.g., printer operation, material operation), technical (e.g., troubleshooting, maintenance), experimental, research and development, large multi-faceted projects and active on-site locally or abroad for projects or customer support.
You will be part of a vibrant and highly multidisciplinary team at COBOD International in Copenhagen, Denmark. About COBOD International
Our mission is to disrupt the global construction industry through world class 3D automation. Faster. Better. Cheaper. We 3D printed Europes first building in 2017. Subsequently the first 2- and 3-story buildings in Belgium and Germany were made with our technology. Also, the first villa in Dubai and the first buildings in Africa have been done by our 3D construction printers, like the first wind turbine bases. Preferred skills and experience:
Fluent English (both written and verbal) as this is the company language.
We are open to many profiles but it can be within Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering or within Concrete Technology and Construction Materials and Construction Methods in general would be considered very favourably.
Knowledge of and experience with 3D printing, Laboratory and Research skills would be highly beneficial.
Mechanical, Electrical and Fabrication skills are a plus.
