Digital Product Designer

We are looking for a Digital Product Designer to join the E-commerce team at Tekla. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimising UI and digital experiences across our commerce platform, including D2C e-commerce, B2B e-commerce and retail POS.
You will play a key part in shaping intuitive, on-brand, and functional design solutions that enhance the customer journey and support Tekla's commercial growth.
The position reports to the Technical Product Owner and works closely with colleagues across Brand & Marketing and Commercial. This is a full-time role based in Copenhagen.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Create high-quality designs and experiences for Tekla's commerce platform, ensuring a consistent and cohesive brand presence and alignment with commercial goals.
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, and commercial teams to run ideation sessions and iterations, create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows in Figma taking concepts from idea to final handover.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and development team during sprints by clearly communicating requirements and direction to developers, support with QA and ensure proper documentation.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system and UI guidelines that scales across digital products.
- Perform UX research and testing, iterating on designs based on data, feedback and user insights. We use Mixpanel, Hotjar and Baymard among other tools and services.
- Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure Tekla's digital experiences remain modern and effective.
We'd love to hear from you if you are / have:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in digital product design working with e-commerce sites and experiences.
- Strong UI design skills with a keen eye for detail, layout, and visual consistency.
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial needs and technical feasibility and clearly communicate trade-offs.
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience working with Figma.
- Understanding of core UX principles and design thinking methodology, and a willingness to grow your skills in this area.
- Solid project management skills to ensure deliverables and timelines are being met in the design process.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with developers, marketing, creative and commercial teams.
- Self-driven, with the ability and willingness to experiment and iterate at a high velocity.
- An appreciation and understanding of the Tekla brand, design language, and aesthetics.
