Aarhus Protein is one of Denmark's largest processors of faba beans and legumes, turning them into sustainable, high-quality protein ingredients for food and feed. We're backed by Copenhagen Merchants, Danish Agro and Fredericia Shipping - and now we're ready to build our own commercial muscle.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Commercial Manager to establish and drive Aarhus Protein's go-to-market setup. You'll own sales and market development across human nutrition and animal feed, building relationships with international customers, securing long-term agreements, and making sure our production capacity is turned into real value.

What you'll be doing

  • Drive sales and take lead on Aarhus Protein's commercial agenda
  • Identify and develop opportunities across human nutrition and animal feed markets
  • Build and nurture partnerships with customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders
  • Negotiate and secure long-term contracts that balance growth and risk
  • Shape and execute go-to-market activities (pricing, positioning, account management, etc.)
  • Work closely with owners and internal stakeholders to align ambitions and execution
  • Contribute to Aarhus Protein's independence and long-term commercial growth

Who you are

You're a commercially driven professional with experience in food, feed, or agri – and you know how to turn ingredients into markets. You combine curiosity with structure and drive with patience, and you're comfortable being the first in a role that you'll help shape as you go.

We imagine you bring:

  • Solid experience in sales, market development or partnerships within ingredients aimed for food/agri/feed
  • A track record of building customer relationships and securing agreements
  • A holistic view on customer solutions – where logistics is naturally part of the equation
  • Familiarity with production-focused companies and supply chain realities
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to see both the detail and the bigger picture
  • Fluency in Danish and English (other European languages are a plus)
  • A personality characterized by tradesmanship, integrity and cooperation
