Summary

The Head of Public Affairs in Denmark will be responsible for leading Novartis' external engagement with policy makers and government decision makers to ensure a sustainable operating environment that supports patient access to innovative medicines.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the external policy environment in Denmark on high priority topics
  • Build and maintaining strong relationships with policy makers and stakeholders
  • Represent Public Affairs as part of the Danish Country Leadership Team
  • Monitor emerging policy and regulatory trends relevant to Denmark
  • Drive thought leadership for Novartis in Denmark on commercial and policy priorities
  • Provide analysis on political trends on relevant portfolio areas for senior management
  • Represent Novartis across key industry and trade associations

Essential Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working within the Danish Government
  • Exceptional understanding of the Danish legislative environment
  • Demonstrated experience in crisis and issues management
  • Proven track record of providing forward-thinking analysis on geopolitics
  • Proven track record of delivering strategic advocacy campaigns on complex issues
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with key external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability of addressing complex regulatory, policy or access priorities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, policy, health economics or business.
