About the role
As Category Manager Nordics your role is to work closely with the Haleon commercial sales & marketing teams and customers to deliver category thought leadership for our brands to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
While your role is primarily focusing on the Danish business, you will work as a Nordic Category Manager in the newly set up Nordic team and share responsibilities and tasks across countries.
This is a fixed-term contract until 31st of May of 2025 with a goodpossibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
Be the market data expert responsible of reviewing monthly performance, delivering category deep dives and market potential of risks and opportunities.
Providing actionable category insights based on strong analyses of the consumption data and consumer insights.
Tracking key launches and innovations in the markets and outlining upsides or risks vs. the set targets.
Managing the cooperation with our consumption data providers such as Signum and Nielsen.
Review category space layouts and drive space changes to improve shelf placement and visibility.
Delivering strong support with assortment and shelf management expertise for in market execution of category plans.
Localizing global Category vision & strategies in cooperation with Nordics Category Lead
Leading category projects with customers
Qualifications and skills
Essential
University degree in relevant subject or equivalent
Min. 2 years-experience working experience preferably in FMCG industry, Pharmacies or Food Retail.
Strong analytical capabilities with excellent knowledge of MS Excel
Strong commercial thinking and business acumen
Strong project management skills
Good influencing & presentation skills
Understanding of Danish retail landscape & tactics
High energy level with an appetite for execution & growth mindset
Fluent in Danish and English
