This position will be based in Copenhagen, Denmark under the Cardiometabolic department. You will directly report to the Senior Director Cardiometabolic.
The Position
As a Commercial Senior Project Manager Cardiometabolic, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic execution, development, and implementation of business opportunities in the Cardiometabolic space. In addition manage the implementation of the designed strategies for semaglutide in diabetes and obesity in collaboration with both cross-functional and cross-TA (Therapeutic Areas) colleagues to secure a common direction towards HCPs within Cardiology, Endocrinology, Diabetology, Nephrologists, and Primary Care. Moreover you will support country adaptation and implementation across Region North West Europe (NWE) to secure major growth opportunities and clear positioning and differentiation in the different markets.
Your main accountabilities will be:
- Lead the commercial Cardiometabolic development together with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Excellence and Obesity Team
- Ensure a Cardiometabolic mindset and HCP centricity across functions and therapeutic areas, and driving specific projects towards Cardiometabolic leadership
- Monitoring the cross-functional implementation of key focus areas to ensure successful execution and progress
- Supporting country adaptation and implementation across NWE to secure growth opportunities and clear positioning in different markets and building strong networks internally and externally to share best practices and pilot new initiatives
- Developing important input for quarterly business meetings within the region, international operations and Global
Qualifications
As a Commercial Senior Project Manager Cardiometabolic, you need to have proven experience in marketing in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. In addition, you need to have strong commercial and analytical ability with good market understanding and experience in the Cardiometabolic space, preferably within Obesity and Cardiovascular Disease (CVD).
To be successful in this role:
- Strong organizational and people management skills.
- Experience in a similar position in a multinational pharmaceutical company.
- Experience in successful commercialization of data with clear positioning and differentiation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Resilience, proactivity, flexibility, and an innovative mindset.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
