As an Enterprise Sales Account Manager, you are driving digital transformations through effective engagement with C-level executives, business development executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various lines of businesses. You are establishing Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the strategic accounts you manage, promoting the entire AWS products and services portfolio to the Fortune 1000 market segment.

On a daily basis you empower your customers to solve challenges while attaining both their operational and innovation goals. You deliver business outcomes while guiding them to become more agile, innovative, and efficient. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  2. Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  3. Create & maintain an opportunity pipeline and drive consistent account-specific activities.
  4. Work with partners to extend reach & promote adoption.
  5. Manage complex customer interactions.
  6. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  7. Ensure customer satisfaction.
  8. Expect moderate travel.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Experience as a quota carrying technology field sales or business development experience.
  2. Experience driving technology adoption and creating long term transformational account strategies.
  3. Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses.
  4. Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to Fortune 1000 customers ($2M in revenue with multiple product lines).
  5. BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. 10 years of technology field sales or business development experience.
  2. A technical or educational background in engineering, computer science, or MIS.
  3. Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company.
  4. Cross functional selling experience (Architect, Sales Engineer, Professional Services, Partner, and ISV).
