Manager for Analytical Technology Development Team

If yes, then you might be the right person to head up our newly expanded development team within the Process Analytical Technology (PAT) Department in aseptic manufacturing.

The position

Process Analytical Technology (PAT) is essential for enabling continuous & agile production of pharmaceuticals. In Novo Nordisk, we have established ourselves as a global leader within PAT development for aseptic manufacturing. In relation to an expansion of PAT activities, we are searching for a manager to head up our development team. In AT we are stronger together, therefore your primary task will be to ensure structure and timely execution of projects while maintaining the innovative and collaborative spirit that has allowed us to succeed in the first place.

Qualifications

As a person, you are positive, open, and curious. You face difficult tasks head-on, and promote teamwork and collaboration when solving difficult problems. You are good at navigating discussions and negotiations to find a workable compromise, with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to ensure trust, collaboration, personal growth, and team spirit in a diverse team.

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • A scientific background
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in leading teams within technology development or analytical development
  • Understanding of GMP - Experience is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Strong skills in executing projects, with a structured approach to your work as well as timely execution
  • Fluency in English, speaking and writing
About the department

You will be joining Process Analytical Technology, a department under Technology and Innovation, within the Aseptic Manufacturing Science and Technology (AMSAT) area in Novo Nordisk. The department is located in Denmark, splitting time between Bagsværd and Gentofte.

The department was created 3 years ago with the purpose of expanding and optimizing Novo Nordisk production capabilities through real-time monitoring and release testing. We are responsible for designing and developing holistic analytical solutions from the ground up. The department mainly consists of scientists with a diverse cultural and scientific background. We are an ambitious department who work closely together and seek to elevate each other and those around us, so we can deliver the best solutions for the production of the future.
