About the role

As the Senior Payroll Specialist you will work as a part of HR & Payroll Team in central Copenhagen. Your goal will be to ensure timely and quality payroll preparation and calculation, as well daily deliverables of excellent services to a portfolio of assigned clients.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  1. Prepare and maintain payroll computation for assigned clients and ensure high standard of compliance and accuracy;
  2. Ensure collection of payroll documents and other input in time;
  3. Check the input data documents for compliance with the local regulations and contracts;
  4. Complete filing of the documents in accordance with the established filing system and maintain client’s files complete and in a good order;
  5. Provide support to other team members as-and-when needed in ensuring service excellence and on-time delivery to clients;
  6. Meet established deadlines for each client;
  7. Perform field work if required;
  8. Perform client onboarding and system implementations as required;
  9. Be part of the automation group working on continuous improvement;
  10. Keep up to date with changes in legislation and inform superiors on the changes;
  11. Review and check the accuracy of entered input data & output results;
  12. Maintain good client relationship and attend to clients’ requests and queries professionally;
  13. Liaise with external parties like auditors, banks and relevant authorities;
  14. Check on a monthly basis the accuracy of processed information and preparation of supporting analyses of the accounts if requested;
  15. Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll data;

About You

You have experience in HR and Payroll and you would like to take your career further by pursuing a role in a global environment?

Ideally, you meet the following hiring criteria:

  1. A candidate with at least 3-4 years relevant work experience is preferred;
  2. Resourceful, independent and strong problem-solving abilities;
  3. Communicates effectively through written or verbal communication both in Finnish and English;
  4. Strong ability to plan ahead and organize the work;
  5. Reliable and responsible and focuses on team goals;
  6. Experience in a similar role in an outsourcing business with good client servicing skills will be preferred.
