We are now looking for a Marketing Manager to develop and execute our marketing strategy, working closely with technical experts to raise awareness of our solutions and to bring our innovations to a global audience.

Your Role

As our Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to engage highly technical audiences worldwide. You will take ownership of key activities such as lead generation, content creation, campaign management, and brand positioning, ensuring our innovative products resonate in niche engineering markets.

You will be a key member of TICRA’s Sales and Marketing Team, collaborating closely with Sales Engineers and Product Leads to translate complex technical details into clear and impactful marketing materials that highlight our products’ unique benefits. Together, you will drive thought leadership through compelling content, digital campaigns, and industry engagement, positioning TICRA as a global innovator in engineering software.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will shape and implement marketing strategies that align with business goals, combining strategic insights with hands-on execution to achieve measurable results. You will also evaluate when to handle tasks in-house versus outsourcing them, ensuring optimal use of resources and the best outcomes for TICRA’s marketing initiatives.

Your tasks will include:

  • Marketing strategy and planning : Develop, implement, and continuously refine TICRA's marketing strategy, aligning with business objectives and global growth targets. Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure the strategy reflects industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Campaign management : Design, launch, and monitor both digital and traditional marketing campaigns to generate leads, build brand awareness, and support sales efforts.
  • Content development : Create and manage technical blogs, case studies, white papers, and other materials that engage and inform our engineering-focused audience, driving thought leadership.
  • Resource management : Assess when to handle tasks in-house versus outsourcing to external agencies or freelancers, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with business goals.
  • Customer engagement : Plan and execute e-mail marketing campaigns, webinars, and newsletters to retain customers and educate them on product capabilities.
  • Trade show and event coordination : Organize TICRA’s presence at trade shows and exhibitions, including booth planning, promotional materials, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Market and competitor analysis : Conduct research to refine product positioning, craft compelling messaging, and identify industry trends and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with engineering : Work closely with Sales Engineers and Product Leads to understand product features and translate technical information into customer-focused messaging and marketing materials.
  • Performance tracking : Leverage marketing analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies based on data insights.

Your Profile

Required qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing technical B2B products, ideally in software or engineering industries and with familiarity in niche technical fields.
  • A track record of developing and executing marketing strategies in technical B2B markets, demonstrating measurable results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex technical content into engaging marketing materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with content creation and digital marketing tools (e.g. marketing automation, analytics tools, e-mail marketing, and social media management platforms).
  • Demonstrated success with lead generation, e-mail campaigns, and social media, leveraging data to measure and optimize campaign performance.
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management skills with the ability to balance long-term goals with day-to-day execution.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful, with a proven ability to manage marketing functions independently in a lean-team environment.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating effectively with sales, product teams, and technical experts to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • An outgoing and collaborative personality with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • Citizen of a NATO or EU member country.
