The Vice President will report into the Corporate Vice President of Integrated Quality (IQ) & Operations and Staff Quality (OSQ) and will be a key member of the leadership team for the Integrated Quality Programme (IQ Programme). The Integrated Quality Programme will transform Novo Nordisk's QMS, making it scalable, flexible and ready for the future. IQ Leadership is one of the Programme pillars, catering for Process Excellence and Operational Excellence.

The position
As the Vice President (VP) of Integrated Quality Leadership, you will spearhead the transformation and implementation of Process Excellence in Novo Nordisk. You will set strategic direction in how Novo Nordisk's ways of working are to be adjusted to ensure excellence in both processes and operations.

You will lead a team of highly competent specialists and experts in processes and Lean, setting direction and principles in how Novo Nordisk achieves process excellence and operational excellence, ensuring continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Additionally, you will be responsible for stakeholder involvement in strategies and solutions, ensuring that perspectives and needs from different areas are considered, creating the best value for the programme and for Novo Nordisk.

Furthermore, you will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing transformation team, fostering transparency, collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the organisation. The team will expand dynamically to support the implementation efforts needed in the upcoming years.

Success in this leadership role demands a high degree of independence, innovation skills, cultural awareness, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have:

  1. A master's degree within a relevant area
  2. 5+ years of leadership experience, leading leaders
  3. 10+ years of proven experience in process improvements, including process management
  4. 10+ years of experience working across complex matrix organizations, in heavily regulated industries
  5. Strong drive for continuous improvement and transformation
  6. Solid experience in Lean
  7. Strong problem-solving skills
  8. Effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage a wide range of stakeholders
  9. High degree of independence, resilience, flexibility, and cultural awareness

About the Department
Integrated Quality Leadership is an VP area within the IQ & OSQ area in Novo Nordisk Quality. Besides responsibility for the Integrated Quality Leadership pillar, the area is responsible for the cLEAN Supply System ensuring operational excellence. For now, the area consists of 9 skilled colleagues and will grow to the need of the implementation.
