Do you want to lead the AML Requirements team in Financial Crime Prevention?

Working with financial crime prevention in Saxo, you will take part in our continuous efforts to fight financial crime globally by implementing the right KYC solution to ensure a high level of standards for how we assess risks and implement controls ensuring our business is compliant with regulations in all the countries where Saxo operates.

Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) is part of the 1st Line of defence and located in Saxo’s headquarters in Hellerup. We are currently a big FCP organisation with a lot of dedicated employees with diverse backgrounds and experience, and we are looking for new colleagues to join our area.

On a high level, we work with a wide variety of tasks within the financial crime space requiring in-depth understanding of money-laundering, tax evasion, sanctions, adverse media, and terrorist financing risks. It is important that you can communicate across organisational levels and seniorities, and that you are able to translate our ways of working into relatable training material on both a non-technical and technical level.

Responsibilities

This position offers a great opportunity to take ownership of your tasks and priorities and shape the position depending on your knowledge, experience, and organisational priorities.

These are some of the key tasks:

  1. Create structure and clear ways of working with optimising and implementing new guidelines across the FCP organisation.
  2. Ensure alignment between the Saxo Group's rules and the general global regulation.
  3. Ensure alignment on existing policies and instructions to future changes.
  4. Recommendation and support to other teams to close identified gaps.
  5. Revisit Saxo's risk appetite with the aim of optimising and ensuring that acceptable inherent risk is mitigated.
  6. Building a bridge between Financial Crime Prevention, Risk and Compliance, and Commercial.
  7. Provide Senior Management advice on the AML agenda and support on supervision from the regulators.

Your profile

We are looking for a Lead to join our FCP organisation, who cannot wait to contribute to deliver on a wide range of tasks and contribute to our collective success.

  1. You have a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar position leading a team.
  2. You take the lead and ensure progress on the project and on the development of your team.
  3. You thrive in an environment with constant changes but have an eye for details.
  4. You have experience from the financial sector within financial crime prevention and financial crime legislation.
  5. You enjoy working independently, as well as together with colleagues in the team and across the organisation, and you take an active role in teamwork.
  6. You can demonstrate the ability to seamlessly integrate into diverse project teams.
  7. You have experience from working in a global organisation and are fluent in both written and spoken English.
  8. If you have experience from working with the implementation of guidelines in the financial industry.
