AML Requirements Team Lead

Copenhagen, Denmark is home to our Financial Crime Prevention organisation, where we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our AML Requirements team.
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can take charge of implementing the right KYC solution, ensuring a high level of standards for risk assessment and control implementation across our global operations.
This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with financial crime prevention in Saxo, contributing to our continuous efforts to fight financial crime globally.
As part of our 1st Line of Defence, you'll be based at our headquarters in Hellerup, collaborating with a big and diverse FCP organisation with a lot of dedicated employees.
On a daily basis, you'll work on a wide variety of tasks within the financial crime space, requiring an in-depth understanding of money-laundering, tax evasion, sanctions, adverse media, and terrorist financing risks.
You'll be responsible for creating structure and clear ways of working, optimising and implementing new guidelines across the FCP organisation. This includes ensuring alignment between Saxo Group's rules and global regulations, as well as recommending and supporting other teams to close identified gaps.

- Ensure alignment on existing policies and instructions to future changes.
- Recommendation and support to other teams to close identified gaps.
- Revisit Saxo's risk appetite with the aim of optimising and ensuring that acceptable inherent risk is mitigated.
- Building a bridge between Financial Crime Prevention, Risk and Compliance, and Commercial.
- Provide Senior Management advice on the AML agenda and support on supervision from the regulators.
We're looking for a Lead to join our FCP organisation who has a minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a similar position leading a team.
The ideal candidate should have experience from the financial sector within financial crime prevention and financial crime legislation, be able to demonstrate seamless integration into diverse project teams, and possess excellent communication skills.
A strong understanding of the global regulatory environment and experience from working in a global organisation are essential, as well as fluency in both written and spoken English.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary range for this role is estimated to be around €85,000 - €115,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension plan, and generous holiday allowance.
