We are looking for an ambitious Bid Manager for Høje-Taastrup or Aarhus. At WSP Denmark, we work with exciting and complex projects within Transport. We want to strengthen our offer to customers.

As a Bid Manager, you will be responsible for the tender process in WSP Transport and Infrastructure in collaboration with Market and Department Managers.

Most of our larger offerings involve the international WSP, so we are looking for a Bid Manager who can navigate between international and local branches.

We work with our Future Ready concept and incorporate trends in climate, society, technology and resources.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading interdisciplinary teams in the preparation of winning tenders after we have been prequalified or requested for tenders. Your responsibilities will include offer management, writing of offers, process facilitation, and structuring in connection with the preparation of the offer.
  • Contributing innovative ideas and processes for optimising tender execution, creating opportunities for us to win new assignments and develop our business together.
  • Seeking out, developing, and maintaining a broad interface and insight throughout the WSP organization, both nationally and internationally.

Your skills and competencies:

  • A proven experience in leading complex tender processes, including curiosity, industry insight, good communication skills, and a desire for strategic development.
  • You must be able to master the Danish language and formulate an offer at a high professional level. Expect that part of our offer must be prepared in English.

YOUR TEAM

You will be part of our WSP Transport and Infrastructure Division, which consists of 120 skilled colleagues. You will take on a central role and, in collaboration with committed colleagues with different skills, be responsible for leading the preparation of our offers so that they reflect all our expertise. WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?

  • Experience with tender management and tendering from the engineering/architectural/contracting industry.
  • Preferably experience with offers from the Danish Road Directorate, Banedanmark, utility companies, Metroselskabet, or similar clients.
  • Used to operating with many stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Danish.
  • Quality-conscious and ensures that all "gaps" and "risks" are highlighted and addressed.
  • A skilled communicator, able to embrace and meet the customer's needs in your communication. Communication will occur in both Danish and English.
  • Good graphic understanding and well-founded writing skills.
  • Advantageous if you have a flair for networking and a well-established network with architects, contractors, public and/or private builders.

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

  1. Telephone interview: We'll start with a telephone interview to get to know you better and discuss your experience.
  2. HR/Manager Interview: You will meet with our TA team and the department manager to assess your technical and cultural skills.
  3. Interview with the Business Unit Director: A meeting with the Business Unit Director to discuss your potential role and our strategic vision.
