Vestas Technology & Operations > Nacelles Manufacturing > Production Readiness Concept and Launch department, within Production Engineering Nacelles in Nacelles Manufacturing, is an important part of innovation, transforming innovation concepts into tangible, high quality products by setting up a strong technical governance, ensuring production readiness and delivering targeted training to equip teams with the skills needed for execution. The department is primarily focusing on development activities in Denmark but is interfacing in a global environment having production facilities across the globe, where support can be needed.

Responsibilities

  • Global coordination: Lead and manage production readiness activities across a diverse, global team with members located in different countries. Ensure seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams, encouraging communication and alignment.
  • Leadership and development: Manage and mentor team members, encouraging a culture of collaboration and quality.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on production readiness status and addressing concerns.
  • Optimization: Evaluate and refine the way we work today, implement best practices to improve efficiency of the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience working with teams in a global environment.
  • Experience in production readiness, manufacturing, or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a global, cross-cultural team.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experienced and skilled at engaging stakeholders at all levels with communication and collaboration.
  • A goal of delivering high-quality outcomes while meeting tight timelines.

Competencies

  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills to develop team members' capabilities.
  • Ability to foresee and align production readiness activities with organizational goals.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and overcome issues in a busy environment.
  • Ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
