Your future team
As part of the Customer Engagement Team in the Digital Sales & Marketing department, you'll join a positive and dynamic team dedicated to creating superior customer experiences and digital solutions that support sales in building highly engaged customer relationships. The team consists of 4 members and is responsible for several of ROCKWOOL’s key global customer-facing platforms, including 80 websites across 5 brands, Product Information Management (PIM) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

What you will be doing
You will lead the effort in defining digital customer journeys and driving impactful design changes for our new website redesign project. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and agencies, conduct user research, analyze data to inform design decisions and optimize the customer journey to enhance satisfaction and engagement.

Your tasks will include, among others:

  1. Define, create and validate key (business critical) user journeys across platforms.
  2. Lead UX processes and requirements gathering for the new website redesign.
  3. Identify customer and business needs across digital platforms and shape these into high-level wireframes/prototypes and ultimately, into detailed specs and UX.
  4. Take ownership of the design system and UI Library, championing their use and advancing the development of the components library and style guide.
  5. Support product owners in describing user goals and drafting user stories for implementation.
  6. Steer the development of a strategy for collecting and leveraging customer survey data to inform UX decisions across projects.
  7. Responsible for ensuring our designs meet UX and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  8. Facilitate workshops and collect inputs from markets and customers on key requirements and user needs.

What you bring

  1. 6+ years of experience as a UX / Digital Designer or similar.
  2. Functional expertise in user experience design practices, methods, and theories.
  3. Proficient in managing design workflows and tackling projects with ease.
  4. Experience in utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions.
  5. Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and work within tight timelines.
  6. Strong ability to present ideas to stakeholders and management and secure buy-in.
  7. Exceptional English skills, both spoken and written.
  8. Hands-on experience and expert knowledge of Figma and various tools (e.g., Storybook, Chromatic, Google Analytics).
  9. Good facilitation skills and capable of facilitating workshops with stakeholders at various levels.
