The role

As an Accountant, you will support the Global Finance team on a day-to-day basis while acquiring a range of new skills. You will have the opportunity to communicate with colleagues across Europe and will be specifically dedicated to tasks related to Hungary and Taiwan.

Your responsibilities

  • Processing the accounting data into the company accounting system - booking expense, hours, invoices, IC sales invoices, protocols, etc. in NAV DYNAMICS and HU system.
  • Receiving and validating timesheets for traveling, etc.
  • Updating information on rotation and pre-calculation of payroll.
  • Reconciliation with customers, working with outstanding invoices.
  • Working with online banking systems and bank statements.
  • Creating and validating projects – external and internal in NAV Dynamics.
  • Preparing supporting report files in Excel and ad hoc reports.
  • Monthly reporting to the parent entity.
  • Preparing budgets and participating in forecasting reports.
  • Reconciliation of G/L accounts, IC reconciliation.
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end closing.
  • Supporting external audits.

About you

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • Affinity for and knowledge of GAAP principles and reporting.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Excellent computer literacy - primarily Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a team, independently, and meet strict deadlines.

It would be considered as an asset if you have

  • Working experience with NAV Dynamics, SAP, and Acubiz.
