As our industry continues to grow, so do we We are now looking for an IT Support Specialist to help troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

What will you do?

As our new IT Support Specialist, you will deliver 1st and 2nd level technical support to onshore employees through phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring seamless operations and efficiency. Furthermore, you will collaborate with other IT team members to work with IT projects and implement new solutions.

Your main tasks include:

  • Monitor, manage, and solve tickets in the ticket system in relation to defined KPI´s
  • Set up and configure new computers and mobile devices for employees
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Document and maintain knowledge base articles and procedures in the ticket system
  • Some contact to IT suppliers related to services, subscriptions, and similar
  • Daily purchasing and invoice administration related to IT equipment and services

We think you will be a good match if you have:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or other relevant position in an IT department
  • Preferable knowledge of systems and applications like the ticket system Fresh Service, Aruba Central, and PRTG
  • Experience with general IT hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
  • Experience with ITGC (IT general controls) related to SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Act) is an advantage
  • Experience from the maritime sector and vessel systems is a benefit
  • Fluent in speaking and written English
