Salary

The salary for this position is approximately 38,500 DKK per month, which translates to around 5,100 EUR (April 2024 level). This amount may be subject to change based on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

As a neuroscientist at Københavns Universitet, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects focused on the study of cellular models of neurodevelopmental delay and epilepsy using live cell imaging of neuronal activity.

Our goal is to understand the consequences of disease mutations on circuit-level behavior and identify potential targets for drug discovery.

You will be part of an international and interdisciplinary team that combines expertise in microscopy, electrophysiology, and omics methods.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A PhD or equivalent degree in natural or medical science
  • An excellent scientific track record with solid experience in cell culture methods and fluorescence microscopy
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in teams
  • Proficient English language skills, both written and spoken
