RNG Sustainability Specialist

At Nature Energy, we are committed to pioneering a sustainable future by turning waste into value. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing our ERP setup to improve sustainability criteria and certificate value and volume.
The position is rooted in our Trading & Certificates department, where you will work closely with teams across the business to establish systematics and maintain KPI surveillance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in internal and external audits under REDcert and similar schemes
- Developing end-to-end systematics connecting market requirements to long-term production site planning
- Implementing UDB systematics, including structuring the current ERP system and enhancing it for future developments
- Defining and ensuring changes in the ERP system to enhance performance on certificates
- Participating in internal training on REDcert and national rules and regulations
- Ensuring accurate and compliant Mass balancing and GHG calculations based on RED (REDcert)
- Maintaining and developing knowledge, systematics, and connections with Procurement, Asset Management, and Production Optimization & Planning
- Feeding into investment decisions from a Trading & Certificate perspective
You will be based at our headquarters in Odense, reporting to Team Lead, RNG Sustainability, Jesper Rud Toft Duvander. Our department values open, dedicated, and sociable colleagues.
To succeed in this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience and a background in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or Manufacturing Engineering and Management. You should have an excellent eye for structure and thrive in roles collecting and structuring large amounts of data in Excel. A solid understanding of ERP systems and ability to interpret directives, rules, and legislation is required.
A strong focus on accuracy, proactivity, and stakeholder management is key to success. Social interactions and humor are valued in our team. Additionally, you must be fluent in English, both speaking and writing, and speaking and writing Danish is an advantage.
