Actona Group, a global player in modern furniture supply, seeks an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to join their team. This role presents a unique opportunity to drive sourcing excellence across the organization.

About the Role

As Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and negotiating framework agreements to secure competitive prices and terms. Your expertise will be crucial in building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including buying departments at upholstery productions, as well as external partners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing
    • Sourcing of Raw Materials: Strategically source raw materials, including foam, wood, and metal, for production.
    • Market Analysis: Analyze and follow the raw material markets and price development to ensure optimal sourcing practices.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Evaluate current sourcing practices and identify opportunities for optimization through data analysis and reporting.
    • Manufacturing Methods: Create an overview of different manufacturing methods at upholstery productions to ensure balanced raw material sourcing.
    • Cost Optimization: Optimize costs while participating in building the function through establishing tools, templates, and ways of working.
