Job Description

The position is a postdoctoral research opportunity at the University of Copenhagen's Department of Biology. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled geneticist to join our team in a two-year position. The successful candidate will work on a population genomics project focusing on Greenlandic land mammals, including arctic fox, caribou, arctic hare, wolves, and lemmings.

This project involves analyzing whole genome datasets to better understand the genetics of these species. The postdoc will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of researchers and contribute to the advancement of our knowledge in this field.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about population genomics and has experience working with high-throughput sequencing data. Strong programming skills and expertise in statistical analysis are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate should also be able to communicate scientific results effectively through publications and presentations. Proficiency in English is required for this position.
