Postdoc in Acceptance of Low Carbon Technologies

The Division for Climate and Energy Policy at DTU Management offers a Postdoc position to work on cutting-edge research projects focused on the acceptance of low-carbon technologies. The role involves participating in behavioural and preference modelling, survey development, data management, and statistical analysis.

We are looking for highly qualified scholars with experience in working with large-scale surveys, multivariate statistical analysis, and behavioural models. Your skills in data management, survey design, and writing scientific articles will be valuable assets to our team.

Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • You will contribute to the development of behavioural models of acceptance of carbon capture and storage (CCS) and preferences for green aviation fuels.
  • Your task includes designing surveys for primary data collection and combining datasets to assess the dynamics of acceptance.
  • You will also assist in writing deliverables and contributing to the dissemination of results through scientific publications and conference presentations.

This is a two-year Postdoctoral Researcher position, financed by the Innovation Fund Denmark as part of the Innomission Investments. You will have the opportunity to work on strategic research projects that address key climate goals and develop innovative solutions for sustainable growth.

As a successful candidate, you hold a PhD in economics, political science, or sociology related to working with survey development, conducting statistical analysis, and writing scientific articles. You are expected to demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

The estimated salary range for this position is approximately DKK 540,000 - DKK 640,000 per year, depending on your level of experience.
