Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the water and wastewater business. As a key member of our Product Development department, you will play a key role in developing and designing groundbreaking mechanical solutions and pioneering new technologies in the field.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and contribute to the design and development of new frequency converters, components, and products from concept to commercialization.
  2. Utilize advanced engineering techniques, including simulation and analysis, to optimize mechanical performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  3. Collaborate within a cross-functional team consisting of mechanics, electronics, and software engineering.
  4. Ensure seamless integration and execution of new product development projects in close cooperation with manufacturing.
  5. Generate innovative design concepts, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to validate feasibility and functionality.
  6. Conduct thorough research and analysis of emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  7. Perform comprehensive testing, validation, and verification of mechanical designs, documenting results and making necessary design modifications.
  8. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 2-5 years of experience.
  2. Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and concepts, with a focus on new product development.
  3. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, NX) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS) for design and analysis.
  4. Experience with rapid prototyping techniques and familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and analytically.
  6. Strong project management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and successfully completing projects.
  7. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for being part of a highly effective and cohesive team.
  8. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on producing high-quality deliverables.
