Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our team at the Biotech Research and Innovation Centre, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. As a member of the Lund Group, you will contribute to understanding how ribosome specialization leads to the installation of translational programs and how these processes are hijacked in human disease.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A PhD in biomedical or natural sciences
  • Highly experienced in molecular and cellular biology
  • Proficient communication skills and ability to work in teams
  • Excellent English skills, written and spoken

Benefits

This is a fixed-term position limited to 3 years, with an average weekly working hours of 37 hours per week. The position is available now, and the start date is after agreement. Foreign and Danish applicants may be eligible for tax reductions if they hold a PhD degree and have not lived in Denmark in the last 10 years.

Others

You will use both mouse and human organoid cultures, and key techniques will likely involve ribosome profiling, RiboMeth-seq, and mass spectrometry. You will also have freedom to co-develop the project and collaborate with a broad range of local and international collaborators.
