Job Overview

The LEGO Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Enablement team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering outstanding cloud engineering capabilities for our products and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud landing zones, core accounts, infrastructure-as-code, and policy-as-code in Azure and AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address cross-cutting concerns through automation and self-service.
  • Work closely with other cloud engineers to complete the overall roadmap supporting the LEGO Group's digital transformation and cloud journey.
  • Design, develop, and maintain API integration layers.
  • Expand security and compliance in the cloud.
  • Participate in the DevOps Operating model, focusing on quality and implementing full-scale development and peer programming.
  • React to support requests or incidents during business hours, collaborating with the team to build proactive measures and automation.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with building cloud-native applications and a solid grasp of cloud infrastructure, IaaS, and PaaS.
  • Experience with defining cloud infrastructures through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.) and modern DevOps and Agile practices.
  • Demonstrable experience in infrastructure and operations in Azure (and preferably also AWS), including designing and maintaining landing zones, and experience with ServiceBus, Azure Functions, and development in Python.
  • Awareness of event-driven architecture and serverless architecture (SAM).
  • Frontend development experience in React, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Fetch API, Express, and Node.js is a plus.
  • Experience working in AliCloud is a bonus.
  • Competence in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • Independent and self-managed, with excellent communication skills and the ability to exercise initiative when presented with problems.
  • Advanced English language skills, both written and verbal.
