Job Description

The Department of Biology at the University of Copenhagen invites applications for a position as Tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in Marine Biology. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge research in marine ecology.

Additionally, they should demonstrate clear potential for attracting external funding and possess internationally competitive research skills.

Terms of Employment

The position is open from June 1st, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will be employed according to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.

Negotiation for salary supplement is possible. A start-up package is provided, including funds to establish a research group, laboratory space, and access to excellent equipment and infrastructure.
