The IT University of Copenhagen invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the levels of Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor, depending on the candidate's qualifications. This opportunity is part of the university's restructuring process to strengthen its research and teaching within information systems with specific focus on business process automation and artificial intelligence (AI).
We are looking for candidates who want to contribute to our vision of creating and sharing knowledge that is profound and leads to ground-breaking information technology and services for the benefit of humanity. The successful candidate will engage in interdisciplinary research in areas such as organizational implementation of automation technologies, interplay of organizational routines and digital technologies, management of AI, human-AI collaboration, and organizational implementation of business process analysis technologies.
Job Description
- About the Position: We invite applicants who have academic qualifications at PhD level and the ability to read/speak a Scandinavian language or the willingness to learn Danish.
- Responsibilities: Conduct research and research-based teaching in one or more of the following areas: organizational implementation of automation technologies, interplay of organizational routines and digital technologies, management of AI, human-AI collaboration, and organizational implementation of business process analysis technologies.
- Requirements: Hold a PhD degree, have experience in conducting research and teaching, and be able to attract external research funding, supervise PhD students, and participate in committees.
What We Offer
- Salary: A competitive salary according to the job structure for academic staff at Universities, based on the Ministry of Taxation's agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). Estimated salary: 750,000 DKK - 1,200,000 DKK per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
