Assistant Professor of Circular RNAs in Brain Cancer

The Department of Biomedicine at Aarhus University invites applications for a position as Assistant Professor in the field of circular RNAs in brain cancer. The position is a fixed-term full-time position for 2 years.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct independent research of high international quality, including publication.
- Teach and supervise students at Bachelor's and Master's level, and contribute to the development of the department through research of high international quality.
- Attract external research funding and contribute to the department's research environment.
- Independent research-related qualifications at a high international level.
- Clear communication skills and experience in supervision and teaching at Bachelor's and Master's degree level.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: non-coding RNAs, RNA-protein interactions, in situ visualization of RNA and protein, cancer stem cell biology, and functional and mechanistic studies.
The position is located at the Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University, and the working language is English. International applicants are expected to learn Danish, and Aarhus University arranges Danish teaching.
