Assistant Professor in Educational Leadership

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Educational Leadership at Aarhus University. This is a full-time position for three years, starting from 1 December 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be part of our Centre for Educational Development (CED), which aims to inspire engaging teaching and excellent educations at Aarhus University. As an Assistant Professor, you will contribute to our research in educational leadership in higher education institutions, with a focus on applied research and publication at an international level.
About Your Responsibilities- Conduct applied research and publish at an international level about educational leadership
- Support and co-supervise younger research colleagues in the CED research group
- Fundraise externally for research activities
- Teach selected topics at CED's courses and workshops for university staff/faculty
- Participate in relevant development projects with colleagues and university staff
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD degree in a relevant field, two to three years of postdoc work experience, and a developed research profile relevant to educational leadership in higher education institutions. You should also have teaching experience, including experience of teaching university faculty/staff, and project team leadership experience.
