Business Partner – Intraday Power, Algo, and Physical Gas Trading

The Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving execution and ensuring delivery on key objectives within the Intraday Power, Physical Gas, and Algorithmic Trading departments. This position requires strong leadership skills to collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the Trading Director and Leadership Team, as well as cross-functional teams.

  • Translate high-level goals into actionable steps and ensure follow-through for successful execution.
  • Maintain relevant OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for the department, ensuring they are measurable and actively tracked.
  • Facilitate structured decision-making by preparing materials for board meetings, risk committees, and leadership discussions.
  • Eliminate roadblocks and improve cross-functional execution across trading teams and the wider organization.
  • Monitor resource bottlenecks and ensure alignment with commercial leadership's priorities.
  • Provide high-level support to the Trading Director, ensuring priorities are managed effectively, information is streamlined, and decisions are well-prepared.
  • Anticipate needs and act as a trusted advisor to help the Trading Director stay ahead of key developments.

This role is critical in achieving maximum strategic momentum and a relentless focus on realizing our commercial ambitions.
