Job Opportunity: Associate Professor or Assistant Professor of Veterinary Biochemistry

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic scientist to join our research group in the Section of Pathobiological Sciences, Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.

About the Position

This is a research-based teaching position that involves conducting research in veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology. The successful candidate will be associated with the research group of Disease Stem Cell Models and Embryology and will contribute to teaching in courses related to veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology, including publication and academic dissemination
  • Develop and teach courses related to veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology, including supervision of bachelor, master, and PhD students
  • Contribute to research leadership, including guidance and supervision of researchers
  • Share knowledge with society through various means
  • Participate in academic assessments and contribute to the development of teaching competences
  • Acquire independent research funding
Requirements
  • Research qualifications within veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology
  • Experience in securing external funding for research
  • Teaching qualifications and pedagogical competences
  • Research-based teaching experience
