This role involves developing and executing strategies to promote Hempel's insulation- and related products B2B across various channels within designated territories or accounts. The ideal candidate should possess strong commercial and technical knowledge of insulation technologies, enabling effective collaboration with commercial teams and regular interactions with customers. Project Management skills are essential, focusing on specifying and selling Hempel's insulation technologies.

Hempel has introduced its Energy Retention solution to the Insulation market, aiming to replace traditional insulation methods, providing economic and environmental benefits to our clients. This marks the beginning of a new initiative, with expectations for introducing additional solutions in the future.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with key Oil & Gas – Chemical Asset Owners and their subsidiaries, along with relevant Engineering companies (EPC) within Europe.
  • Ensuring Hempel's insulation technology is chosen as the most suitable and competitive system within the Asset Owners' approval framework.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of current and upcoming construction and maintenance projects related to Hempel's product portfolio.
  • Driving necessary actions with Hempel sales teams to secure orders for targeted projects.
  • Evaluating the performance of approved systems periodically and providing feedback.
  • Actively participating in Oil and Gas, NACE forums.
  • Accurately tracking projects, MoM, and customer interactions in CRM.
Expectations
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B international sales experience with proven achievements.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in insulation- and/or corrosion protection paint sales and/or application processes.
  • Ability to travel according to business priorities and customer needs (up to 50% working time).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management.
  • Excellent project management and coordination.
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills.
  • Self-driven and proactive attitude.
  • FROSIO or NACE certification would be advantageous.
  • English language proficiency; German and Spanish language skills are desirable.
