The Commercial Insulation Solutions Specialist will be responsible for selling Hempel's insulation- and related products B2B across various channels within specified territories or accounts. This role demands a versatile individual with strong commercial and technical expertise in insulation technologies who can collaborate with commercial teams and interact with customers regularly. Project Management capabilities are required, focusing on specifying and selling Hempel's insulation technologies.

Hempel has entered the Insulation market with its Energy Retention solution, aiming to replace conventional insulation, providing economic and sustainability benefits to our clients. This marks the first solution launched, with expectations for introducing more solutions in the future.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Establishing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with key Oil & Gas – Chemical Asset Owners and their subsidiaries, along with relevant Engineering companies (EPC) within Europe.
  • Ensuring Hempel's insulation technology is selected as the most suitable and competitive system within the Asset Owners' approval framework.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive overview of current and upcoming construction and maintenance projects related to Hempel's product portfolio.
  • Catalyzing and driving necessary actions with Hempel sales teams to secure orders for targeted projects.
  • Evaluating the performance of approved systems periodically and providing feedback.
  • Taking an active role within Oil and Gas, NACE forums.
  • Accurately tracking projects, MoM, and customer interactions in CRM.
Our Expectations
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B international sales experience with proven achievements.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in insulation- and/or corrosion protection paint sales and/or application processes.
  • Ability to travel according to business priorities and customer needs (up to 50% working time).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management.
  • Excellent project management and coordination.
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills.
  • Self-driven and proactive attitude.
  • FROSIO or NACE certification would be advantageous.
  • English language proficiency; German and Spanish language skills are desirable.
