Operational Automation Expert

Hays Denmark is a leading recruitment agency, and we are currently seeking an experienced Operational Automation Expert to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workflow automation, data transfer, and system integration, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Estimated SalaryBased on industry standards and location, the estimated salary for this position is between €50,000 - €70,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an expert who can work closely with our solution architect and workflow owners to develop a solution that meets our client's needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing strong skills in writing scripts to automate tasks, such as scheduling and managing data transfers and workflows;
- Integrating data transfer tools with other enterprise systems, like databases and cloud storage, using APIs and other methods;
- Applying security best practices, including encryption, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards;
- Monitoring the performance of data transfers, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing settings to maintain efficient operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Data Transfer and Networking: Understand how data moves across networks (OT-zones) and manage various transfer methods like FTP, SFTP, and other specialized protocols;
- Automation and Scripting: Develop strong skills in writing scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, Powershell, .net) to automate tasks;
- System Integration: Be proficient in integrating data transfer tools with other enterprise systems;
- Security and Compliance: Apply security best practices, including encryption, and ensure compliance with relevant standards;
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of data transfers, troubleshoot issues, and optimize settings to maintain efficient operations.
