Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our research group as a project coordinator. This role will involve supporting the team with group projects and academic administration, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong analytical abilities. A background in business or management is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination of group projects, including task allocation, progress monitoring, and reporting
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, document preparation, and file organization
  • Develop and maintain accurate records, databases, and spreadsheets to support project needs
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • A high degree of flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • A team-focused mindset, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, experience in organizing and administering projects would be beneficial. Additionally, knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and PDF creation would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $30,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The University of Southern Denmark offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
