Departmental Context

This position is situated within the Commercial Supply Chain sector of CMC Operations and reports directly to the Senior Director, Head of Commercial Supply Chain, CMC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain GMP-compliant commercial supply chains, focusing on label and packaging operations at Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and distribution through Third-Party Logistics (3PLs).
  • Lead product implementation initiatives at CMOs, overseeing commercial product launch activities and validation processes to ensure product availability.
  • Develop and refine processes, procedures, and systems for product implementation and commercial operations.
  • Supervise label and packaging manufacturing activities, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for commercial manufacturing support.
  • Collaborate with key business partners to formulate effective launch strategies.
  • Assist in the implementation of serialization setups for various markets and CMOs.
  • Work alongside Quality Assurance to uphold GxP compliance throughout the supply chain, including managing changes, exceptions, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).

Qualifications:

  • A relevant master's degree in fields such as Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or similar.
  • At least 3 years of project management experience within a global supply chain context, engaging with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment is essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive initiatives forward.
  • A natural inclination towards business process optimization and standardization.
  • Exceptional coordination skills with a proactive approach to engaging team members to ensure progress.
  • Adept at taking the lead and working autonomously on both familiar and new tasks.
