Job Title: Sustainable Materials Strategy Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Sustainable Materials Strategy Director. This role will play a critical part in developing strategic recommendations on sustainable materials, particularly resin, and will work closely with stakeholders to drive the development of internal standards and definitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic recommendations on sustainable materials, including resin, in collaboration with critical stakeholders
  • Play a vital role in the LEGO Group's enterprise risk management work on materials
  • Drive the development of internal standards and definitions to guide our work on sustainable materials
  • Work closely with sustainable materials experts to remain up-to-date on trends and developments in the market and regulatory environment

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working with environmental sustainability and/or sustainable materials
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, materials, or sustainability
  • Proficiency in project management, including organization and planning
  • Successful strategy development skills with proven forward-thinking in a global corporate context
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and influence
  • Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity and translate complex topics into comprehensible messaging
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
