About the Role


Sustainability Reporting Lead


We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Reporting Lead to join our team at The LEGO Group. As a key member of our Human Rights, Reporting, and Responsible Sourcing team, you will play a critical role in shaping our sustainability reporting strategy and ensuring compliance with global standards.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability reporting framework that aligns with the LEGO Group's sustainability ambitions and global standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and information necessary for sustainability reporting.
  • Lead the Double Materiality Assessment process and ensure timely submission of sustainability reports.
  • Identify and address gaps in sustainability reporting and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, customers, and NGOs.

Requirements



  • Masters degree in Economics and Business Administration or similar relevant area.
  • Relevant certifications in Program management or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of CSRD and sustainability reporting principles.
  • Extensive experience in working with sustainability reporting, including strong communication skills.
  • Experience with driving Double Materiality Assessments in large organizations.
  • Proven track record of a detailed and well-organized approach.
  • A good eye for detail while keeping track of the bigger picture.
  • Strong insights in various sustainability domains.
  • Excellent collaboration and engagement skills at all levels.
  • Dedicated and ambitious mindset.

The Senior Manager of Sustainability will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sustainability reporting framework that aligns with the LEGO Group's sustainability ambitions and global standards. This will include leading the Double Materiality Assessment process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data and information necessary for sustainability reporting, and ensuring timely submission of sustainability reports.


The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration or a similar relevant area, relevant certifications in Program management or similar, and strong knowledge of CSRD and sustainability reporting principles. Experience with driving Double Materiality Assessments in large organizations, a proven track record of a detailed and well-organized approach, and excellent collaboration and engagement skills at all levels are also essential.
