Job Description:

In the role of Director of Brand Innovation and Development, you will be a key member of our global team responsible for creating and fostering consumer demand by converting consumer, shopper, and market insights into compelling and innovative product lines, marketing strategies, and campaigns.

This position will focus on developing our business within new territories, driving growth through newness and first-time ever propositions, elevating the brand's equity, relevance, and overall excitement from kids and adults. You will work closely with our Global Marketing Department to turn consumer insights into powerful play and communication value propositions.

The ideal candidate will have a highly proficient and innovative senior leadership background with strong product and social marketing development experience, preferably with a proven track record of releasing a new property to market. They should have a passion for toys and an understanding of the universe around developing, manufacturing, and distributing them. Experience in physical toys and social experiences is a plus, or with an international/global consumer product. IP experience is also beneficial.

You will be responsible for collaborating with our Franchise Leadership Team and across the wider organization to develop and implement innovative go-to-market strategies, drive internal marketing thinking, and step-change how LEGO products reach markets. Additionally, you will lead the sell-in process, build connections with lead markets, and ensure a strong global portfolio. You will also orchestrate communication campaigns and programs, leading the strategy, development, and execution of content for Owned LEGO channels, Shared and Earned ecosystems (IP Partners).

As a phenomenal collaborator and indirect leader, you will thrive when leading indirect reports and partners of different seniorities effectively, generating positive relationships, and influencing big cross-company internal-external agendas. The ability to create order out of uncertainty, finding excitement in working in flexible constantly evolving environments, and taking calculated risks with agility responding to the changing external landscape are essential skills for this role.
