About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Retrofit Sales Manager to join our team at MAN Energy Solutions. As a key member of our sales department, you will play a pivotal role in advancing decarbonization efforts within the shipping industry.

As Retrofit & Upgrade department's representative, you will drive engine technologies and lower operational costs for major shipping companies, ensuring they understand how MAN Energy Solutions' retrofit offerings can propel them towards sustainability goals.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate and support the retrofit decarbonization strategy for prominent shipping companies.
  2. Raise awareness of MAN Energy Solutions' retrofit solutions and their impact on achieving sustainability objectives.
  3. Collaborate with local sales managers to develop strategies.
  4. Ensure seamless handovers of sold projects to project managers.
  5. Promote new innovative solutions to major shipping companies.
  6. Contribute to global sales strategy planning.

About You:

  • You have extensive sales experience, preferably within the marine or shipping sector.
  • Hold a strong technical background, such as a Marine engineer or mechanical engineer.
  • You are proactive, self-driven, and quality-oriented.
  • Excel in networking and can effectively interface across all levels.
  • Communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.
